Almost half way!!!

Tomorrow I will be half way!!! 20 weeks!! I'm excited about that.

Joe made a comment last night about me being half way thru my pregnancy and you couldn't even tell I was pregnant. lol. You an tell a little bit, but if you didn't know me and saw me in public, you wouldnt be like "Awe, she's pregnant!" So I still have a long ways to go.

I bought a bib the other day that said "Are these people really my relatives?" its really cute. I couldn't resist. I'm really trying to resist buying anything or even registering until we know the sex. But the thing is, is that Ms. Linda wants to give me a baby shower the first or second weekend in August. If we find out what the sex is on the 14th, then that is less than a month before the shower. So I'll have to register right away. So I may just go ahead and start a registry and register for the basic stuff I know I'm going to want and need.

I think that is all for now, I need to go do some work on my day off.

So, I havn't updated in a while (Sorry I'm bad about this stuff).

I'm 18 weeks and 4 days today. Most of my sickeness is gone except random days in the morning. Sometimes I wake up feeling bad and some of those days I throw up and some of those days I don't. It just depends on what my body wants to do. My belly has still not gotten very big, but it is sticking out a little bit more than it used to. I'll post a picture below. I'm still down 8 or 9 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. But the doctor isn't concerned, he said it will come. So I'm not worried about it.

I'm just so tired most of the time. At night I fall asleep on the couch at like 9:00. But other than that everything is going fine.

We went for our "Big Ultrasound" on June 16th, last tuesday to find out the sex of the baby. But the dern sucker wouldn't cooperate and un-cross its legs. It was sitting on my spine with its head up in my belly button. So we go back on July 14th (4 weeks from that day) for another ultrasound. There were things the US Tech could not measure, like the kidneys, spine, diaphragm, face, etc. So, hopefully then, the baby will cooperate. We're all dying to know the sex of Baby Overby.

I can feel the baby move around some now. It's like a worm in my stomach moving around. I think it has kick a few times, but not too much. Mainly just "movement".

Things are going good tho. We're all very excited!

Week 13

So this week is my last week in my 1st trimester! Thank You JESUS!

Its been pretty rough. Being sick all the time isn't fun at all, and I've been so tired and run down feeling. Hopefully that'll get better in the second trimester. My belly is starting to get a little bigger. Most of my pants don't fit anymore. I have 1 pair of jeans, and 1 pair of short that fit (it wont be long before the shorts wont fit).

I think I've been feelin the baby moving some. Very faintly, but I think it is that. The doctor said around 18 weeks is when you start to feel it move. But if I get very still at night, I can feel it.

But that is pretty much the update. Nothing else new. Just trying to make it through. I go back to the doctor June 9th for a check up and then the 16th for the next ultrasound, which is when we find out the sex of the baby.

1st Ultrasound!!!!!!

Today was our first ultrasound! How sweet it was!!!
First of all, they changed my due date. The doctor said that I'm actually 12 weeks pregnant instead of 10, so they changed it to November 17th. So today, they did an ultrasound and we saw the baby for the first time!!!
It was incredible! As soon as he put the transducer up on my belly, you could automatically see the baby. Then, a second after that, the baby "did the worm" as Joe likes to say. But it jumped and then rolled over on its side! I was so excited I started giggling. The doctor said several times " I can't take a good picture if you keep giggling!" So I finally made myself get still enough so he could take some picture! Then we heard the heartbeat! The most wonderful sound in the world. It was so exciting! Then, the doctor asked us if we wanted to know the sex, we said he did. He said he could not tell us for sure, but it sure looked like a boy! So at 18 weeks we'll know for sure if its a boy or a girl!
It was so much fun and a feeling and a day I will never forget!!

10 Weeks 3 Days

So, today is Monday, May 4th. I finally got to sleep in today and really enjoyed it. We had a big weekend with our Open House/Grand Opening at work. I think I just worked my little booty off and I'm just worn out! I had to go into work today to do some stuff, and then went up town.

I didn't take my anti-nausea meds this morning and I was good until about lunch time. I've been dreading going to the grocery store, being that I'm so tired. Guess I need to go do that now.

I have an OB appointment tomorrow and get to have the first ultrasound tomorrow! I'll post pics as soon as I can!

First Pregnancy Blog...10 weeks 1 day.

So, Everyone has been asking me how I'm feeling. So I figured I'd do this, so I don't have to keep repeating myself. lol.

Today I'm 10 weeks and 1 day. Since about the first week in April I've been sick as a dog. Throwing up 2 or 3 times a day. Finally, when I went to the doctor on last monday, she called me in an anti-nausea medicine that I took for the first time yesterday. WOW! What a difference. I havn't thrown up since I've taken it. I took two doses yesterday and two today, and I have felt 1000 times better!!! SUCH a relief!! I'm still not showing much. I can tell a difference in how I feel, when i touch my belly, but you stil wouldn't know just by looking at me.

Most of my clothes still fit. My belts don't. But most of my pants still do. I bought some maternity clothes from oldnavy.com. 1 pair of shorts and some tops. The shorts are SOOO comfortable.

Overall, today and yesterday I've felt sooooooo much better than I have in the past month. On tuesday I go back to the doctor to have the first Ultrasound and doplar done to hear the heartbeat!

Joe is convinced its going to be a girl. Everyone wants a girl. But Uncle Doyle did make it clear tonight at dinner he was puttin in his vote for a boy. haha. I had a dream last night that it was a girl. So who knows! I'll be happy with a boy or a girl. Like Aunt Mary and Aunt Karen said tonight, once we hold that baby, it wont matter.

We'll see how I do to keep up with this, but I'm going to try!
